the CRAFTED workshop

“Success is better when shared with others.”

What is the #crafted Workshop? //

Are you a photographer? This is for those looking for inspiration and ways to improve on their artistic craft, to take their business to the next level, and to collaborate and connect with other creatives just like yourself.

This workshop is geared mostly towards those who have already started their path in photography and are looking to take it to the next level. If you’ve just started a business {or have the thought in mind} and need guidance on what to do and how to get it up and going, if you’ve been shooting for awhile but are looking for ways to improve, how to reach more clients, ways to improve on technical and creative skills, and all aspects of business and mentoring – this is for you! Or if you just want to know how or why I do what I do, come hang out and I’ll spill all my glorious {or not so glorious} secrets. We’ll connect with other creatives alike and learn from each other, offer inspiration, pick my brain, and leave feeling rejuvenated and inspired. We are not meant to be competition in this world, but called to be a community with our craft. Learn how to support others, lift each other up, be inspired by each other, and we all win in the end. #communityovercompetition

Who is this workshop for? //

Anyone! Whether you are a new photographer, hobbyist, or professional looking to network or learn new things with a different perspective.  This will be a place for us all to connect, learn from each other, and pick my brain. Topics will focus primarily on weddings since that is what I specialize in, but all discussion points throughout the day can easily be applied to any photography setting.  A styled photoshoot will take place later in the afternoon to showcase key discussion points from the day and to give you first-hand experience with putting them to practice. This is excellent if you’re the type of student who learns by seeing and doing, then later we’ll follow up with more questions at the studio.

What’s on the Agenda? //

visual storytelling
finding the light
